The beginning was not a grand vision. Just a series of voice notes — quiet, unfiltered, and real. Me, on what it means to be ‘too much’ or ‘not enough’ in places that I was supposed to call home. The idea quietly formed in the middle of the laughter, the silences, and the weight of the unspoken.
All About U and For You isn’t just a podcast. It’s a space. A mirror. A microphone for the stories I never saw reflected back at me while growing up.
This blog is an extension of that space. For those who want to sit with the words, unpack stories slowly, and feel less alone in their becoming. I didn’t know it then, but those reflections were the seeds of something much bigger. Slowly, through those voice notes, a story started to form. Not just mine, but the story of so many who have navigated multiple identities, cultures, and expectations — often in silence.
That’s how All About U and For You was born.
A Space to Be Fully Seen
This podcast isn’t just about sharing experiences. It’s about creating space. A space where the unspoken can finally be said, where vulnerability isn’t weakness but courage, and where belonging isn’t earned by fitting in but by being exactly who you are.
I started this because I needed it and I believe others do too. Through honest conversations, personal stories, and soulful reflections, All About U and For You is a gentle rebellion against the idea that we need to have it all figured out. It’s a reminder that our becoming is a beautiful, messy, evolving process and we don’t have to do it alone.
Why This Matters
We all deserve to take up space. To speak. To be heard. To be understood.
This podcast is a letter to that truth and to anyone who’s still searching for it in themselves.
The Blog: Slow Conversations for the Soul
This blog is an extension of the podcast, created for those who like to linger with thoughts a little longer. Some stories are best heard, others best read. And some need both. Here, I’ll share behind-the-scenes reflections, deeper dives into episode themes, and personal essays that go beyond the mic. So, if you’ve ever felt like you didn’t quite belong, or if you’re in the middle of figuring out who you are and where you fit this is for you.
Welcome.
Take a breath.

The conversations that were not happening
The podcast started from a gap. Plenty of people were explaining how to move to Sweden — the paperwork, the housing queue, the tax number. Almost nobody was talking about what it actually feels like once you are here and the admin is finished.
That second part is where most of the difficulty lives, and it was largely unspoken.
Why audio
Some things do not survive being written down. Hesitation, the pause before someone tells you the real reason, the moment a guest changes their mind mid-sentence — audio keeps all of it. Text tidies it away.
Audio also asks less of the listener. People listen while commuting, cooking, walking. A conversation about belonging is easier to take in while doing something else than it is to sit down and read.
What the show is actually about
Nominally: life in Sweden. Practically: the questions underneath it — how you rebuild a life, what you keep from where you came from, what it costs to start again, and what nobody warns you about.
Guests have included entrepreneurs, researchers, creatives and people simply further along the same path. The common thread is not their job title. It is that they have thought honestly about change.
What we learned making it
The best answers come after the obvious ones. The first response to any question is usually rehearsed. The third is where the interesting material is — which means asking the same thing again, differently, and being comfortable with silence.
Preparation is about the guest, not the questions. Knowing someone’s story well enough to follow them somewhere unplanned matters more than a good list.
Consistency beats production value. Listeners forgive imperfect audio. They do not come back to a show that appears at random.
People want to be asked properly. Almost everyone has something considered to say and very few opportunities to say it without interruption.
How it connects to the work
The podcast is where a lot of what You Creatives believes was worked out in public. Sitting with people who are hard to see — capable, thoughtful, and largely unknown — makes the pattern obvious. Being good at something and being known for it are entirely separate skills, and the second one is learnable.
That is the studio’s whole premise, and it came from the microphone before it came from the strategy.
