“Belonging isn’t always about fitting in sometimes, it’s about being seen for who you really
are.”
That’s a line we often come back to in our conversations, in our lived experiences, and now, here in writing. Whether you’re someone who’s moved across borders or someone trying to make peace with your roots, the question of “Where do I truly belong?” is deeply personal.
In our very first podcast episode, we explored this theme through two lenses one born in Sweden, the other arriving there with new eyes and a heavy heart. This post goes a little deeper. Beyond geography. Beyond identity checkboxes. It’s about how belonging feels in the body, how it shows up in language, food, friendships and what it means to create your own space when none seems to fit.
Because sometimes, the journey toward belonging is less about finding a place, and more about becoming.
